Re: My junk heap on wheels (though I love it very much)
look better than some ive seen
Re: My junk heap on wheels (though I love it very much)
some of the bad:
I just cant get this purple "tint" crap off the window....
My makeshift-come-permanent rev counter - held on by tie-wraps. Notice the extra oil pressure gauge down to the right - the original appears busted...
Can someone say - is that the original steering wheel - seeing that there is cruise control buttons on it?
The silently rusting struts underneath. I checked this out the other day - the framework that was added to give the suspension lift seems to be in fairly ok condition. The strut toward the top of the picture is bolted onto it so is not as important. What I do know though is back home in the UK, this car would be illegal on the road due to that fault alone...
Rust - Rust - Rust:
And finally some mess under the hood -
Melted breather on the oil intake - various pipes lying disconnected along with the pipe from the air intake to the exhaust manifold - it never stays in....
If you look at the engine compartment pictures above you will see tons of wire arbitrarily running from one side to the other. Someone re-wired a ton of stuff in this B2 - I just wish I know what it was for.....

Wierd. I have your B2's twin. Right down to the crappy purple tint. Still trying to get pics to upload. Scary though.
