That's the only number on it. Is there any other way to tell.

the difference is in the gear. one is steel and the other is cast i think. but there is a difference. did the oil pump shaft fit ok??

Reman.; w/Module; w/Cast Iron Gear; Distributor is supplied with module;Cast Iron and Steel Gears are not interchangeable and will cause severe damage.

you have ta know if that motor is a real GT one. if it is than go get a rebuilt GT dist.

do you know what the firing order is for your motor??? theres 2

I got the engine with all that installed. The intake wasn't on it, so I don't know if it was carbed or injected. That's the issue.

In earlier posts we figured out it was a HO 87 bronco motor.

get the casting numbers and date code. the date code should right above the casting number

Yeah, go a couple pages back. I have all that information posted. I believe your the one that said it was from an 87 bronco and from my understanding that it is a HO motor.

what number/letter in the casting number says its a bronco engine?? the "T"= truck

That's what I thought. The guy I got it from said it was from a mustang, but I posted the casting number and someone said 87 bronco. So I never found out for sure.

there is no way to tell if it came out of a bronco. its a truck engine. the intake you have is not a bronco one. this is the bronco intake

The intake is from a 91 mustang. I'm almost positive it's an 87 bronco.
