Need Help Quick

Post by H2OFowler57 »

Heres my problem, the rear door on my 86' Bronco II is broke, the handle is extremly loose and can spin freely around unless you push it in, it still hooks onto the latches to open the door but the door wont budge, the lock still works fine and there doesnt appear to be anything wrong inside the door. Any help will be GREATLY appriciated, I know my description isn't the best, but its the only way I can word it. I've added two pictures to try and make things easier for you guys.

Thanks again,
Cody

I'll hazard a guess...

i think this is your problem here. my rear handle doesn't pull out like that. i think you need a new door handle. mine also doesn't stay turned, either.

i also think that one of your linkages is not connected to the handle. you can see it in the picture. if that isn't connected, your door won't budge as you said.

hope this helps

I looks as if the small c clip is missing. My handle did the same thing when I found that the clip was gone. Handle felt like brand new when I installed it.
