I have a 89 Bronco ii 4x4, auto trans., 6" susp lift on 33's. I used a Double Carden Drive Shaft from a 85 Bronco ii 5 sp. Transfer case housing broke at the output shaft. I would like some input since I have never had this problem with my 85 ranger 4x4 with the same lift? Please give feedback. I need some suggestions before replacing parts

Mine, A 1987 Bronco II did the same thing
it was axle wrap that caused it to happen!
5" of lift, 3" leafs and 2" blocks
I put on Anti wrap/Traction bars and havent had the problem since

Did you have your rear driveline extended for the lift? I have had to long of a driveline punch through the t-case under full compression.
