I ran 2.8 for along time. I squeezed all the power out I could and broke all the parts I shouldn't. But at the end of the day and The displacement helps on a tired clutch knee. :redneck:

so have you thought about doing the twin stick and 203 doubler on that thing?im thinking about it but it seems like the setup may be a little long thus making a really short rear driveshaft.

I like to build daily driven trail rigs. So a rock crawling gear set up doesn't work for me. 4:10's in the bronco's with 34's worked well in Rieter and Walker and all around in any terrain from sand to snow with the V-6's.

I am now currently runnning a big block fullsize with 3:73's and 36's. I can still tear up all the terrain the BII could except I can't fit in between the trees. ;)

Hey,

I am not 16 yet but i recently got a 1984 Bronco 2 and have already put a lot of work into her!!! :D I was considering the idea of a v8 swap and i just wanted to know if that was a good avenue to take? I have a 302 and a C4 transmission that i still have to take out of an older ford van....so before i took it out and spent money on brackets etc. i was wondering if it was at all worth the efforts!

Also, how doo 31" tires look on the bronco 2?

Thanks :tongue2:

hey man whats up. the v8 swap is cool and definetly worth it.as for how 31s look on a bronco 2?you can almost clear those at stock height!! they look ok but 39.5s look better!
