madmark, if you give me a few weeks you might be able to see a more complete truck. I plan on getting the rear end issue at least "delt with for now" done tomarrow. Then the hardest thing I will have to do is figure out the steering and hook up the hydrolic clutch peddle. just PM me when you think you might be here and I will give you all the info. I think my profile has my email on it, but this board is the best way to get ahlod of me because I can check it while I am in class

I think I still have to move something though. if you look at this pic you will see the hanger is at. it seems a little tight. I think I might have to move the front hanger forward about 2" by using the hole in front in the second pic.

because of the angle it is at I might have gotten .5"-1" when I get that angle straightened out I might get around 2". I didn't know if fliping them would bring the hangers in far enough for me to be happy but I think it will work ok. it just seems like I can get it on the road for less cash and it will still flex ok with the leafs. I am still wanting to do the coils in the rear but I think I will wait just to see how I like what I have. next week I plan on getting the fuel cell and wiring situated. my goal is to get the truck done by christmas, but it would be nice to get it done before it starts to get cold here.
what coil springs did you finaly go with?
did you run the camber adjusting C-wedge bushings?
I was going to get the duff springs but I would like to see what all is out their......

well camber you dont have to worry about. the C- bushing's correct caster. i am running 4* C-bushing's and i plan on running 5.5" eb coil's most likely they will be wild horse becuz james duff only makes a 3.5". my other choice would be the superflex coils from broncograveyard. the wild horse coils are $150.00, and BG coils are about $140.00 not much more than the james duff coils.

basicly all I have to do is get some shocks, and have the driveshaft shortend about 2" but it all worked out great. the only problem I ran into was my angle grinder decided to break as I was cutting off the last riviot. now for the front........

well I kinda have a different idea for the rear fender but I don't know if I want to spend the time with it or not........I was going to split the fender and move the rear half back then add sheat metal to the center to extend it and make it look factory. the only problems I have with that idea is it is going to take a lot of time and it is going to get beat up from wheelin'. so I think I might just cut to where the fender looks proportional and put on some cheap rubber flairs. you can get a roll of that stuff for next to nothing.
