I don't know. I'm not sure what to look at for that.

I just did some googling. Even though it is a half inch shorter it will work.

How does the distributor and oil pump shaft go together? How can I tell they are together properly?

I installed the power steering and a/c eliminator pulley. Hopefully I'll get the dist. in and possibly hook up the the throttle cable if I get the linkage figured out. I believe it has an electric choke. I'll have to get pics of everything.

look in the end of it, make sure the holes(1/4 vs 5/16) are the same size. when the dist fits down all the way its in.

Yep. It's good. As long as I don't turn the motor over and keep the point on the distributor, under the cap, I'm not sure of the technical term, but as long as it's in the same position as the one that was on my motor I'll keep the correct timing right?

Oh and that is in fact a lag/ anchor bolt as a throttle stop or something of the sort. Quality junkyard parts. I really need a diagram to figure out the linkage. Once warmed up does the choke plate open up electronically?

got the carb spacer on back wards. PCV hose goes out the back. the choke hot wire hooks to the alternator i believe. i think i would of gone with a autolite 2100 carb. yes the choke open electronically

M just trying to get this running as cheap and easily as possible for now. I'm going to the yard again Friday. I might pick up another carb when I'm there. Hopefully it has everything.

That PVC line, were you referring to the distributor as in it was clocked wrong orsomething on the carb?
