Body swap
i'll take measurement's of my rig to make sure there the same as yours that way im sure that everthing will fit when i get ready to build one. i measured my wheelbase and it is 98.5" in the future im gonna push it out to about 100". i'll have some flex pic's tomarrow and i'll post them up on sunday.

mine is at 102.5, I like it so far. I will know if I realy like it when I do the shack down run. but for right now I have made the decission to stick with the leafs. when I out grow them I am going to save my extra radius arms for the rear. I am excited about seeing the flex shots.....I might have to send my poly kit back and switch.

i got some pic's but my mom does'nt have the program for my camera. i'll have to bring it with me to install on here computer next week. it flex's very well im happy with it. i could'nt get as high as i wanted to but that'll come when i get it on the trails next summer. 102.5 wheelbase sound's good but im gonna wait till i see how my rig take to the trails and if it handles well then im gonna leave it as is except for flipping the rear shackle. i plan on flipping the shackle after the coils settle. the duff coils are damn good im happy with them. know i need to make plans for shocks.

I'm going to wait untill I get everything together before I think about shocks. I want to make sure I have enough travel so I have to spend more money then I have to. tryin to move some parts go get some cash to finish the front. I'm hoping I can get it all here in a few weeks.

yeah, I have the front mounted shock on the driverside radius arm. so I got to fab something up too. I gave my radius arms to a friend to get the bolts I broke taken out and while I was at work I scored a 83 ranger throttle cable for a carb. and steering linkage to start fabing my steering are from the column to the gear box. should get that in a week or two. but in the mean time I am going to pull the rear and try to get it set up this week. those flex pics looked good was that maxed out, or did you still have some travel left?

sound's good. i still need to do something for a shifter myself i've been reaching down and pulling the linkage to shift the tranny (it suck's).
i definetly could have put another tire under the pile. the compressed coil was'nt fully compressed. i still had about 3" or so between the bumpstop and the axle. overall im happy with the coils. the coils hold up with the 25 or so extra pound's well. actually it's probably only about 15-20 pound's more becuz i replaced the intake manifold with a elderbrock(the manifold was heavy as hell to).

yeah, I think if you got an aluminum intake, headers, aluminum rad., and everything else you could find I think you could make a big block work well with the weight issue. at least that is what I am going to try. all the high performance bolt-on's should make it nicer

well I stayed up till 11:30 last night putting on my add a leafs. after pulling the overload leaf and installing them I got about 2.5" of lift. in the front, there is a coils spacer that ads 1" so the 4" lift springs should be about right. if it is a little off I can always move the rear hangers again. suprisingly the pinion angle looks good where it fell, and the stock drive shaft looks like it is the perfect length with all the modifications (move forward 2.25" and lift 4.5"). here is a pic:

the front is stock, they compress to about 13" with the weight on them. the rear hangers are just flipped, with the front holes being used. so the shackle is on the hanger at the top of the frame, and the leaf connects at about the bottom of the frame. here is a pic of the shackle:

I didn't weld any thing I just bolted it up. are you talking about moving it completely under the frame rail?
