F150 trailer hitch for bII

Post by bower100 »

Just gonna throw this out there... sometimes someones "been there-done that".

Guys selling a class III Hidden Hitch for a 1997 F150. Surely it won't bolt right up, but anyone know if it would work with minor mods? (adapter plates at each end)? Thanks, Dave

Nothing heavy but with the 3" body lift the bumper mounted ball is too high to tow my motorcycle trailer. (I just feel better if the trailer bed is level or tilted forward). I want a reciever so I can plug-in a "drop-down" tongue/ ball ... levels the trailer...and also want to use one of those carrier racks that also plug into the reciever... a place to carry stuff out on the beach with six people in the BII. dave :D

Oh man, don't do that. If it will bolt right up to the bII bumper/frame, it'd be alot easier for me than modding an Exploder hitch.

Had a *very* busy weekend... no time to PM you, but now I did. Thanks, Dave
