3'' lift

Post by rlocke2 »

I HAVE A 87 BRONCO II WITH 15X8 MICKEY THOMPSON CLASSIC II'S
AND 235X75X15 BFG ALL TERRAINS. THE TIRES RUB NOW WHEN I BACK UP. I HAVE A THREE INCH BODY LIFT TO PUT ON IT, WHAT SIZE TIRES CAN I FIT WITHOUT RUBBING? I ALSO NEED ENOUGH ROOM NOT TO RUB WHEN I HAVE A LITTLE AXLE ARTICULATION. WOULD A 31X10.5 WORK OR COULD I FIT A 32X11.5?

you have to cut fenders for the 35's though. My 31's rubbed with a 3" body lift. A few hard bumps and the tires put the front fenders where they wanted them. Check your radius arm bushings for wear.

I have a stock 84 Bronco II and I was able to fit 31's on it without a problem. I now have p235 15 inch rims on it now because the 31's were not mud tires and I got the small mud tires from someone really cheap! He bought a vehicle and the dealer put new mud tires on it but he didnt like them and they had less than 500 miles on them and he sold them to me for 150.00. They were Maxxis Mudder Buckshots. I am really impressed with them and they go through a lot more than I thought they would be able to handle.
