Radiator selection
Radiator selection
Just wondering what everyone thought. I have a junky electric fan that I'll hook up. But any takes on a good Radiator? Is there used ones that I can get or is it better to get a Duff or Advance Adapters one? I heard a Mustang II will work.

You got it!
Yup,
84 Bronco II. Summit sounds good. I'd rather go new, than put Exploder parts in my BII.

Well that's just one of the points. The 84 uses a different mounting system than the later BII's and Explorer.
I bolted in a "new" Explorer radiator in my 88 with a 2.9. Fits and looks great.

Your 3 core stock radiator should be good enough if you can get you engine far enough back to clear it. There will be problems with the engine mount cross member and fire wall that will have to be delt with though.
The Duff Radiator fits inside the front core suport and gains you much needed room. I don't know if they have one for the earlier mounting you have in your 84 though. I cut my core support and made a new lower crossmember to support my Griffin. I put a filler cap inside the upper radiator hose as the whole radiator was right under the upper support crossmember/hood hatch.

for $120.00 shipped to your door is new. i dont know if it'll fit in a 84 but it fit in my 86 no problems i had to drill a couple of new hols in the fan shroud at the bottom and that was it. now im running to cold so i have to change my t-stst back to stopck from a 180* cuz it wont warm up past 145*.

good luck with your choice..
