Getting In Your Lifted Truck

ok I got a quick question I just put a 4" Trailmaster lift into my truck and now floor of the passenger area is waist Height so its kinda hard to get in and out of I was wondering what you all did to fix this problem.

also im not a small guy(280lbs) so I dont really like yanking on the steering wheel getting in :)

P.S. my GF who is kinda short I have to lift her in so it is mainly for her :)

what I was thinking of doing is trying to find a short ladder from a Motorhome the type that tucks up underneath. If I can find one thats really well hidden that would be awsome :)

If growing longer legs it out, I'd probably go for some nurf bars that double as a step.

My dad has a stock height 78 f-150. He carries a step ladder in the back for my mom.

My buddy bought a stirrup, mounted on a strap, that latches onto his rocksliders on his heep. It is rather cool lookin' and you just toss in the rig when you are done using it.

you can get steps to mount under the body, but you will drag them when you are wheelin'.

put a chain under it so it wont get hung up on most off road obsticals. and you can step up on it.

whatcha mean by a chain?

what I picture is a chain thats a little slack kinda like a stirrup

yeah kinda like that. bolted to two sides and just hanging down. I have seen it befor but never used one.

i like nobody's Newest Idea

i still have 235/75r15 tires on it too so its gonna get a few inches higher

i was not expecting so much lift the 4" lift is more like 7" plus i have a 3" body lift because of the 5.0L

i bought the lift off of Blue_Coyote and when he told me it gave him 6" I didnt really believe it a whole lot cause all the drop brackets are 4" but it defiantly seems to be about 6" or 7"

kodiak makes some retractable steps there about $250.00 each but if your wheeling your rig on some hard stuff i would get them. if you do a little wheeling and alot of DD then if there in your price range there a good choice. they set right under the rocker panel really close. i think they hold 350 lbs so your covered on weight.
