A/C Help

Post by gullion_a86 »

My A/C hasn't worked since I got my b2 and it's waisting space. Can someone tell me the steps on how to get the A/C out? I was also wanting to know if I would have to get it discharged and if I do could I do it or should I get someone else to do it. If I can i would like to know how. By the way my b2 is an 85, 2.8L 4x4, if that helps. Thanks in advance.

You should leave the pump in and use it as a air pump.

Do I have to decharge the system before I take it out? Could anyone give me the steps for taking off the A/C system?

If its empty why pay to discharge it
There's no reason to take off the a/c pump when you can use it for air http://www.broncoii4x4.com/air/on-board_air-1.php

Unless you don't 4x4 :puke:

Just follow the lines and disconect if you really want it out

How do I check to see if it is discharged? Cause I don't want to start to take something off and it shoot off. I'm going to be putting OBA on it that's why I need it off.
