1990 B2 with electronic 4x4 transfer case

Post by K4irk »

Hello all- I've been working on getting my b2 road worthy again. Just finished rebuilding my Mitsubishi 5 speed manual (Fm 146) and now my transfer case switch is acting up. It's been sitting a while and when I crank it up, it keeps switching from 4x4 hi to low range and back to 2 wd then back to 4x4 hi all on its own. I disconnected the clutch safety switch yesterday but can't believe that would cause a problem.

Any ideas please?

I'd source a manual T-case and linkage.

Yes, I have one I'd sell.

I have also been working on my 4x4 for my 89, I've read a lot of information on it yours sounds like it's trying to find its way so the switch that tells it what position it is in maybe bad I'm sorry I can't give you much more info than that.

I know it's a "just answer". But I thought it was pretty informative.
