Wheel and tire size

Post by BroncoBruce86 »

New to the forum, have a 1986 B11 all stock even wheels. Wanted to install a set of 15x7 stock wheels from an 88 and wanted to know
if a 235/75/15 tire would give any trouble.
Thanks

Welcome Bronco Bruce! I have a 84 4x4 with no lift - I'm running 31 10.50 R15 on the factory rims. If I turn real sharp while hitting a bump the front rub a bit. You won't have a problem with the 235's

235/75s are a nice fit, thats what I have on some '94 Ranger rims under my '85 B2. Might want some extra wide mud flaps tho as they will throw more mud up onto the truck.

Yes it is an AOD and I will let you know. Suppose to be ready Fri. told them to do a total rebuild and the estimate
was $1200.00 to $1700.00 so we will see.
