ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

Post by zamnep »

I HAVE ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. THE 15 AMP FUSE THAT CONTROLS THE TURN SIGNALS,TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR, REAR WINDOW DEFROST & BACK-UP LAMPS, BLOWS WHEN I TURN THE IGNITION SWITCH ALL THE WAY ON (JUST BEFORE STARTING). I HAVE LOOKED IN THE OBVIOUS PLACES EVEN PULLED THE STEERING WHEEL TO ACCESS ADDITIONAL WIRING. REMOVED THE REAR DEFROSTER SWITCH AS WELL AS THE TURN SIGNAL ASSEMBLY. STILL BLOWS THE FUSE. H E L P H E L P H E L P !!!

You may have a water leak.
I just pulled all my interior and I found water leaks in front and back. Pull your kick panel next to the fuse box and check for rain or rust. Broncos are notorious for leaks. I have all my interior out. The back of my computer was starting to rust.

unplug your muti-function swt and try it then. if it doesn't blow the fuse, it's the muti-function swt.
