emergency flashers

Post by lmtpop »

having to track down electrical issues after the duraspark conversion, ignition switch quit working, car would crank but had no turn signals, replaced the switch and have turn signals but no hazards. there does not seem to be a separate relay flasher all the books say it is on the back of the fuse panel but not on my 84. anyone know if there is a separate flasher or are the wired into the same relay? thanks. the duraspark performs just as advertised. new exhaust coming next week.

What you seem to be having problems with may be related to or as a result of the connector on the lower portion of the steering column separating from the lock tabs. I have a complete explanation of this little know but perplexing problem if you click on the following link http://tekatlarge.net/Bronco-II-Steerin ... roblem.php. it will explain all. Oh BTW I have a bunch a B2 wiring diagrams on my site also. Check it out and maybe that is whats happening also.

Have Fun   :usa:
