Look What Followed Me Home....

Post by plowboy »

Just needs a head gasket. Runs great and has cold A/C. Gonna be the new daily driver while old blue gets some much needed re-construction.
Oh yeah, cost a total of $0.00.

Interior is cleaner than the outside. XLT trim. Power windows/locks. Someone really took care of it. A guy I work with has had if for about 6 months. He bought it for next to nothing for his son. His son didn't want to work on it or do anything with it. He came over last Sun night and tossed me the keys and said come get it if you want it. Sort of made my weekend, since my other bII needs a motor, and my van (main source of transportation) is crapping out on me.

Wow... the story just got a little better. I just looked at the axel code. Looks like it "should" have 4.10 L/S gears. I also found 3K worth of repair/tire receipts in the glove box. Looks like all the u-joints and wheel bearings, brakes cats/exaust, and some other stuff has been done recently. Cool.
