I have a 90 B2 4x4 that I just bought. Just under the dash on the driver's side of the truck, there is an unmarked "metal handle". It's not the parking brake handle, and it's not the hood release. It's located to the right of the parking brake handle and to the left of the hood release. Like I said, it's unmarked. You can push/pull on it and it moves, but I have no idea what it does. Wondered if it wasn't some kind of a vent or something, but can't really tell.
Anyone know what the heck this little metal handle is?
Thanks,
BB2

Just a stab in the dark.. Remote gas door or remote hatch release or secret 1000HP boost module.

I was going to go with ejector seat switch....but lucky for you it must not be hooked up.
Sounds like a weird one....no idea what that would be for.

Its for the Fuse box, when you pull it the fuse box should fall from under the dash, at least that's what my 89 ranger dose.

Yep I agree it's for the fuse panel, or maybe a smoke screen
