Just went through Something like this on my 89 Bronco II I just bought on sunday. Cranks fully and anf good fuel pressure. Mine turned out to be an ignition switch. Try running a jumper wire from the positive on the battery to the positive on the coil. If it powers up the whole truck i.e. fule pump realys and accesories. Id start there Standard part number for my 89 was us-108, It has been working like a champ since.

Dam, I talked to my tech and he said check out your tfi module. Its bolted on the outside of the distributer, and there is a pick up coil inside the distributer, Make sure you mark where the rotor is faceing if you pull the distributer so you can get it back in time. If you havent tried jumping a hot wire to you coil, give that a try also. Hope this helps man.
