84 B11 winshield question
i have a 84 B11 and leaks in from windshield i removed the trim and there seams not to be a seal of any kind. where should i go from here ive never removed a windshield without breaking it.
Re: 84 B11 winshield question
It's difficult to remove them, but it can be done. I've done it using a piece of piano type wire. Push the wire through the seal and work it back and forth around the windshield...carefully!

thanks that sounds good but do you know if there is a gasket? if not what would be a good sealer on the window when I put it back in
Re: 84 B11 winshield question
You can buy a windshield seal at your local auto parts store. It's basically a rope type seal. Clean the windshield and frame really well, then run the seal around the frame and stick the new windshield. There are usually small blocks at the bottom that the windshield rests on. You'll want to do it indoors where it's nice and warm.

3M Ribbon Seal. I don't recall what size I used.
