I'll have to wait for a mod to pull me over to find out the laws
I'm still undecided on how the sides are going to be. I may or may not wrap it around. At this point, probably not, but it would be an easy add on. It's only going to be as wide as necessary. I was always hanging up on the stocker.
Also going to have a reciever hitch and will be hi-lift friendly. I've been in need of a real bumper for a long long time.....hell, my front bumper isn't even finished yet
Messing around in photoshop...... I originally had the left side in mind, but I think the right side might look better....but not as strong. Hmmmmmm....
I like what you did with the angled piece too, if you dropped the rear on something it might be more damage friendly. are you going to mount the hi lift verticle or horizontal?

I won't be mounting the hi-lift. By hi-lift friendly, I mean lots of jacking points. I may do an add-on tire carrier or I'm also considering building a tire carrier that would use the reciever.

you know what i just remembered i was gonna do some bumpers similar to what you doning. i drew it up. the only difference is at the corner where the end angled pieces meet i was gonna weld some flat stock to streghten the end's. just some info i thought i'd throw your way.
