Not a B2 but still a ford

Post by tekatlarge »

I have been working over the last year with my brother to rebuild his 1967 Mustang GTA. I agreed to help my brother as he had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I tried as hard as possible but just couldn't finish the mustang before my brother passed. He passed on the 12th of this month. I finally finished the car and drove it the first of this week. The car is done now so I thought I would share a couple of photos with you of the finished car.

Thanks Phillippi,

Yes this last year working together was great. He did get to see it basically completed and he got to participate in firing the engine the first time. It was all the SLDs that delayed me but we were within a day of getting it road worthy. I have a lot of photos of the build process and am in the process of building a page for my site showing the complete process.. Keep checking things out..

Sharp eyes there drofman,
I am not completely keen on the cylinders yet I think it restricts the hood open distance. The hood stays up and closes easily. That idea was Phils he bought the kit.

I need to check in more often. Very nice mustang. Sorry to hear about your brother, at least he left a bit of a legacy.

I've not been "in" for a while, sorry for your loss. Looks great and I'm sure your brother would be proud. Take care. -Jeff
