Bronco ll engine help
i just bought new spark plugs and wires the sprk plug fit fine but the end of the wire doesnt want to stay on the distributer cap. Can anyone give me any tips or help me out.

I just ran into the same problem recently on project Philstang.
As I was connecting the wires to the dist cap I found the rubber caps fit so well they would not expel the air as they were pushed on. I pushed it down and it would pop back off.
My fix was simple. I got a short piece of 14 ga bare copper wire. I put the piece of wire in the socket and pushed both down till the plug clip engaged and then pulled the copper wire out. The wire holds the boot open enough for the air to escape and then it is super secure.
