EGR valve

I'm not sure if mine is going bad or what, but where is it located and what does it look like cause my repair manual doesnt say shit about it.

What year, and motor do you have? It would be located near the intake manifold with a pipe coming from one of the exhaust manifolds to it.
It will be about 2 inches in diameter, and have 1 or 2 vacuum hoses atached to it.
I have an 87 with the 2.9, and it is right there in the front on the intake manifold itself.
What problems are you having with it?
A little more detail will help us to help you figure it out.
