Sorry I cannot help you but I have a quesiton for you. I have an 84 with a bad engine and I have been offered what he says is a good 4.0 to swap it out. He also said he would do the job for me but wants me to supply whatever is needed fror the change. I am thinking it will need motor mounts, all the wiring looms, and computer, which he has on his truck now, but what do I need for the connection of this 4.0 to my existing 5 speed manual transmission? Mine is a 4x4. Any help with this would be very appreciated. Thanks,
Colin

Thanks for that. I read on another thread that it makes it a lot easier if you swap the dash and I have left a question there asking why this is suggested. Do you know what that is all about? And have you still got your 84 Bronco dash?
