I have an 89' 5 speed and my rear driveshaft fell out of my truck after taking it out of 4 wheel drive and driving it 1/2 a mile down a road. how easy is it to fix?

replace it with another one,go to a JY and find one.but dont get the CV type. find a 88 ta 90 B2 with a standard(fm146) tranny or a 85 and up with the A4LD(overdrive) automatic tranny. those two trannys are the same length

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! I have a 1986 Ford Bronco II was off roading began driving home and snapped the u joint and yoke on the rear drive shaft. I have looked everywhere to fnd a replacement not having much luck is there any alternatives. I work 6 am to 5 pm so cant check this often call with info please 419 438 8706.

First, you should have started a new thread, a lot of folks don't go back and check the older threads, even when they show a new posting.
Now, all you need to do, call your local auto parts store and tell them what you have, most are open till 6 or later.
Don't let the salesman sell you a CV joint drive line, they were fairly common on B2's and are $hi* to say the best about them.
I have gotten u-joint drive lines for every year of B2 from NAPA, they are normally more $$$, but at least they were able to get them.
