Heater

Post by JMAK »

The fan does not come on until after I have been driving a while. I can't find anything wrong with the blower motor. Even if the car idles for a while, the motor will not come on. Only after driving. I have no idea. Is the motor failing?

The fan motor probably has worn out bearings. Just a tiny amount of drag from a dirty or worn bearing will keep the motor from rotating to start. . After you run a while the vibration and heat finally shakes the motor enough to start it spinning.

Get ya a new fan motor and enjoy the warmth.
