we're slower than a triple stacked atlas :frown: I suppose I should fix that.

I need to get back to work on my EB. I still need to build shock mounts all the way around, cage and new bumpers...hopefully a winch someday. Once I move, I'll be looking to pickup another Bronco II.

I check every week to see whos doing what, espically the 5.o swaps. getting ready to do 1 too. lining up a efi 5.0 for me for $100.00 no intake though or computer, might just carb it. 2.8 not enough power for me and runs like crap.84 4x4 ive had for 25 years 2nd 2.8 its had. like everyone else i have to go slow and save money where i can.

its great to see the feedback.

Rockcrawler! man i used to read your build thread all the time till i lost the link! haha, i always thought your rig was awesome. cept for the muddy motor, sounds like it turned out the way you wanted.

RangerDave, what rig is that going under? and i was reading the other day... how is your twin tranny set up holding up? ive heard about this with one of the local crawlers, but ive never seen pics or how its done.

OBXFHB, what axles? someday when mine isnt a DD, i want to throw the D60's off of my old f350 parts truck under the Bii. but thats after the new power house gets put in. my snorkel is still my favorite little project that i did. it was probably the easiest one, but people love it.

ive just been saving up the $$ to rebuild my transmission. and then im looking into grabing a D35 off of an xploder. gonna do the 44 outers and spindles and beef up the beams. custom long arm kit and XJ coils. then im going to get the D35 carrier out of a heep so i can get the ARB system i want.
i want to do the 5.0 swap in the future, so ive been following the posts. sounds like a fairly simple procedure. but i just rebuilt my 2.9, WAIT, my 3.0 (haha every bit counts right  )

thanks for all the feedback. keep it commin!

Yeah the truck has turned out pretty good. I can drive it on the road again sense when it was a bronco II it was off road only couldnt pass smog but now i have no smog. Here is how far ive gotten into the engine. not bad for only 3 hours of work.

Started this in the spring with this:

Then I found this, it looked as good all over as what you see and we drove it home:

Now it looks like this:

And the B2 looks like this:

Got the D35 in and the tires and rims from the X, rounded up a M5od-r1 and 1354m transfer, will get the 8.8 put in sometime, soon I hope,
and maybe get it running in the spring.
Still a ton of work to do on it, just keep doing a little here and there. Seems every time I get started on it someone (wife or granddaughter) wants something done for them, maybe I need to send them both to a far away land, Uh Hu!
I visit here pretty much daily, but ever so often I will miss a day. Kolton is right tho, we have been really dead as of late.
