I made a road trip to Oregon this weekend to pick up a piece of equipment for the shop. I hope to be able to get the rig up level with my wheelchair. I picked up a Mid Rise Sizzor lift. I got this lift brand new from a direct Lift distributor for 1100 bucks. here is a picture of the lift package. All I got to do now is get it out of the pickup that sucker weighs 1000 LBS. More updates later when it is on the ground..

that rig rocks, it works very well and smooth. my dad had one in his shop untill he got an actual lift.
the wheelchair shouldnt be a problem, i used to sit in a computer chair and change the oil on my old GTO.

Re: New tool in the shop
I have it in the shop and it goes up and down. I haven't tried lifting a vehicle yet. Just after I bought it I had a major malfunction in my Shop furnace! It is oil fired and it sprung a leak and put about 10 or so gallons of diesel on the floor. I got greese sweep all over the spill but the next day we were hit by the December Snowstorms. It has finally melted enough snow and warmed enough so I can get out and fix the furnace. I am going to be back out in the shop working away by next monday morning. I have my customers chomping at the bit wanting their jobs complete.clem wrote:Did you get this geared up? If so does it do what you want?
It looks like this is going to be an excellent item to have in the shop. It's going to be handy changing out the front end on La Bomba this spring..
