Hail from Minnesota!!!

Post by dRiZzLe3 »

So yea, thank wikipedia for giving me your site!!!

Anyways i just recently purchased a Bronco II. Here she is.

Here is my Bronco II all!!!!

1988' Ford Bronco II ~ 2.9L V.6 Engine, 4-Wheel Drive Automatic Transmission and Push Button 4x4 (no having to lock in tires).

I thought Flames kinda looking cool with flash xD!!!

Payed $1,000 for it, a working 4x4 vehicle is worth at least $1,500 to $2,000. This also has a very good looking body. Little rust near wheel-well. The guy who owned it before me had all the interior out to paint it (Paints cars, mortorcycles for a living) so it wasnt my idea for the flames xD!!! But they dont look bad. I have the best looking Bronco in my county hands down.

Edit: Thought I'd add, this is only the second vehicle i have ever owned. Im 17 and my previous was a 94' Ford Explorer than still runs, it was just falling appart, muffler off, plastic trim below doors gone, rusty as heck, + the brake line i had running outside the frame because my gas tank kept pinching it and i replaced it twice before i moved it. So i couldnt pass up this Bronco II when i heard about it.

Really as of now dont have any set in stone plans for it...i use it as an everyday vehicle, i def want to put a lift kit in someday. Im open to suggestions guys/gals!!!

Whats the verdict?

If the explorer drive train(engine, tranny, axels, etc)still works, put them into the Bronco. More power and a little more toughness in the axels. Good luck and have fun with it.

Well....so much for the Bronco II. Motor is blown. Will be awhile before i get the new engine put in the damn thing. Im thinking of going for something with more HP since im starting from scratch anyways.

What do you guys think??

2.9L was in it. I want more power...but not gas guzzling 302 or something....i want it to be kinda decent for reg driving as well as off road.

if I remember right I think Nobody got better gas milage by switching to a 302. bottom line is I have never seen a BII get "Good" milage.
71 Bronco - twin sticked, full width, 2" lift, wristed arm, lots of rust...
