SWAP start (finally)
Well work, cold rain/snow for 3 weeks, sick in bed a week and then normal family stuff have caused meto be a slacker. The axle is cut down and all i need to do is pound it back on and weld it. I did finally find the info on a local guy who cuts down and resplines shafts.
The 5.0l is ready to be pulled. I have both upper and lower mustang intakes, oil filter relocator, b2 5.0 headers.
SWAT has been busy lately, but thats no complaint. Thats fun stuff. And yes its cold. 40s high/ 20s low. 25 right now.

Back from the dead!!!
Ok, I know everyone has been asking. To update, im a slacker at times and busy as hell the rest of the time. Currently, I have the 5.0, tranny, tcase all pulled, the d44 cut down and welded back together, the cut down long axle is cut and re-splined, all wiring and computer is taken out of the donor. The donor will be gone either monday or tuesday.
Then starts the rebuild of the b2. Its taken forever, but I truely see the end in sight....

the good thing is you will probably make quick progress with everything gutted and all your parts laying there. the axle will probably go in in about a day or two so that will make you feel like you are making good progress. any ideas on when you are going to get under way?
man, I am getting excited for you. I know how it feels to be on the verge of making the larger steps in a project

Well, I was going to start on it today and I still may. But I have to go to the airport to pick up my parents as I havent seen them in 2 years. They have been in Cambodia on a LDS mission and are finally back. So this week is kinda busy with visiting with them again. I still will get to some, just not a long time on the b2.
I tend to get frustrated if I don't move fast.........but if you think about it, it is all one step at a time. as long as you keep plugging at it it will get there. when are you shooting to get it done?

Re: SWAP start (finally)
Many things have happened since the start of the swap. I got as far as the D44 SAS done, and the motor is in place but I have to build the motor mounts. Currently the B2 is in the garage under a mound of stuff. This spring /summer we are set on getting the garage usable and then work on getting it all finished. The bad part is that I dont have the flexible schedule that I used to have at work. When things get back going again, I will finish this beast up.... (or sell it LOL)
