Funny, I forgot to take a coat so I bought a hooded sweat shirt and was good to go.
Now that it's snowing at my house (about 500') I need to get out to the garage and fix Sundays problem

backing up a hill turning around, it popped. I dug out some snow and it looked like the cap had been forced out but the ears had not busted yet so I drove in 4wd where needed to get out and it got worse. You can see where the ball joint had been rubbed.
The setup is a Schucks joint in axles that have had two previous failures so I don't think it's a big shocker.

I just swapped it out with my last one, GULP so no more spare. I also just put the timing at 8* from 10* and I hope that makes a difference in pinging department.
I will have more pictures tomorrow, we will be headed up to a spot that has about 2000' more elevation! The snow should be much better than last weekend and that was unbelievable.

I did catch the high avalanche info. There was tons of snow but it was wet and heavy. I don't know exactly how much we got into and I only took a few pictures and only one of my Bronco but here is a good one of Kurt's J??p
PS setting the timing to 8* eliminated the ping :--)
