finally got the motor in for the last time

Post by onewyr »

after 3 weekends of farting with this motor we finally got it mounted to the tranny and in the truck hopefully I can get it started tom orrow. yesterday I spent like 5hrs drilling and tapping manifold bolt holes. Oh and screw ford. I went to the dealership for some m8x1.25x75mm bolts for the exhuast manifold and they wanted to charge me 12.90 for each bolt. So I went to a fasteners shop in town and got 16 bolts for less than half what ford wanted for 1 bolt I paid $0.32 for each bolt..

well I had a long night last night I had some folks over to watch the pride fight and I got a little tipsy, make that alot tipsy. so I didn't do to much today just hooked up some lines and changed out the ps pump, I also started trying to figure out how to mount this taurus fan it seems a bit on the big side.
does anyone have any idea were all of these darn vacum lines go I can't figure it out and I seem to have more lines than places to put them.
