doubler install

Post by NMB2 »

so this is going to be a few days of updating...for now ill post up what i got..tomarrow we will start with my tranny mount, t-case mount/ skid....its going to be really cool. id like to give a little bit of a hint as to what it'll be like but i think it'll be better to keep my mouth shut then show you!! anyways...here we go for now.

before i post pics i would like to add the TK4 to FM145 swap is not direct "bolt in"
input shafts are different... TK uses about 2" of input shaft whereas the FM uses about 1". reason is the 2.8 has a pilot bearing in the crank... 2.9 uses it in the flywheel...the fix was putting the pilot bearing and ring in the flywheel..and i left the one in the crank for extra support. also on the lower bellhousing bolt on driver side...it needs to be approx 3/4" longer.

i would love to be able to just swap in the bigger axle and links now to get rid of the old crappy radius arms and mounting...but i cant :(

so what ya'll think so far?
i wish my lawn was emo...so it'd cut itself.
