Hey guys i was wondering if anyone new how long to make the extended radius arms for a 4 1/2 lift, making the custom leaf spring shackles as well, is 1/4 inch steel plating strong enough for the drop drop brackets and shackles? Any input would be appreciated.

Go half inch steel plate. 4 1/2 lift.... 4 1/2 radius drop.

my full suspension lift that I picked up from rough country that's 4" of lift is made out of 3/8 plate on the sides to bolt to the frame and 1/4 tube between the frame for the drop then bolts to the original radius arm bracket but, if you are making a custom one I will warn you keep front drive shaft in mine is close but that's also with a np208 T case

EDIT!
here are links for dropdown brackets

let me ask you this tho, are yoo also compensating for the 4" drop down on the twin traction beam and Pittman arm? if you do like a front 2" lift you only need to modify the radius arm drop down but 4" then you really will need all said dropdown parts and front end caster/camber alignment yes and lets not forget new break lines too factory ones {will not} hold up
