Turns out it was fuzzy corrosion growing on the distributor cap terminals. Put on new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Pulls like a locomotive. :D

Tomorrow I'll be sorting out lights, stupid neutral safety switch, and hammer out a plate to go under the shuft boot.

It starts with the key now, both reverse lights work, and runs pretty good.
Only thing left is to run new exhaust, do away with the vacuum switch garbage, and finish the front drive shaft.

Something didn't seem right with the speedometer so I checked it with my GPS. Only about 15 mph fast. :D

Gotta be the gear. I have 235/75/15 grips on it now. Funny thing is that it has the original transfer case and cable.

My truck was originally an automatic. I'm still using the original transfer case mounted to the FM145. Do I need to pick a gear from the automatic set or manual set?

Didn't get to the speedometer today but I did get rid of my vacuum leak as well as all the emissions junk on the right inner fender. Found a rat's nest in the blower and my fan motor is bad. Truck idles smooth and pulls strong.
Got it stuck in the back of my yard trying to turn around and remembered I don't have the front drive shaft in yet. :mad2: Had to fire up the Willys and pull it out. Won't do that again.
