Nice job on the doors and the top-chop.
Seems like it had a good and eventful inaugural run. I'd love to copy those doors (functional and cool-looking), but after yesterdays run I figure I'd have all my flesh removed and be blinded from branches and blackberries.
That fender does look like it was seriously molested - you don't appear to have taken it easy on it during it's "de-flowering".
Wasn't that thing a solid flat O.D. color somewhare during it's buildup? I thought it looked pretty good then. It looks cool now too though.

yea it was an od green, but another guy that was gonna be there painted his choped up sploder the same color. I wanted to be different. I wasnt sure on how it was gonna do, but i ended up railing her pretty hard. I am very pleased with the setup. The fender happened on a tight turn at the end of the day sunday. There was a good washout, and i couldnt fully make the turn. The tree roots were sticking out of the bank of the trail, where you drop down and it caught the fender. No biggie, ill just get out the sledg, some spray foam and a rattle can and back at it.
gotta fix the steering, and fuel pump issue, and wanna weld up the 9 then its back out for october 1st. thats the next offical run planed her on the east coast. May have to take it out and play before then.

That Sploder perched on your good fender looks like it has all the front-end flex of my non-wristed EB-style d44 setup - probably even less. And I think mine had set new SA RBV lack-of-flex records! Might be just the fact that he's so far tilted over, though.
And what's wrong with the steering as you mentioned?
