Anyone On Here Go To Glamis Dunes??

Post by CVCS »

I Believe It's In The Imperial County. Near The Arizona Border From What I Heard.

I'm Thinking About Heading Out There Someday With My B2
I Have A Question Tho, Do You Know If My B2 Would Make It Out There? Sand Wise.
It's On Stock Suspension. Everything Is Stock. haha
But By Looking At That Explorer Right There, Makes Me Think The B2 Will Have No Problem On That Sand.

I Found This Pic On Photobucket

That picture is on sand highway witch is not to bad but if you go into the dunes you have to lower your tire pressure and stock tires may have a trouble in the soft stuff and deep bowls. they have closed a lot of it and 30 years ago comp was a lot harder. big weekends you may have a hard time getting out of your camp and have camp racers all night. it is a fun place and you see some nice rides but rangers all over the place. i like gordons well better but i'm old

Do You know The Tire Pressure I Should Have Them At?
I'm Planning On Staying There One Day. I Hear It's Tight. So I Wanna Check It Out.

I wouldn't go below 8 PSI unless you carry a can of WD40 and a match to get it back on the bead. I like 10 to 15
