Need a window?
I was going to say need a new girl friend untill I saw the pic......

just make sure to remind her that chic's dig body damage, so the more messed up your truck gets the more girls will try to steel you from her. that should stop her from doing that again.

thanks for the pic's!

i have a parts truck with the window..but i dont think im going to go that way...ive already only got 2" of lift and a 77" track..lets make it less top heavy and more unique....i dont like the normal style chop top..i was looking at explorer chops and wished i could do something like that..then ran across DBrowns...can you gimme the rundown..basically just weld the rear part up on there? got any process pics.

well i c hecked that out matt and it somewhat helped...but im still not understanding what exactly he did...did he just bring the 2 metal peices seperated by the window together and weld them? or is there extra metal?

Yeah... I'm pretty sure he did patch in some sheet metal. No matter what you do, it's going to be hard to keep the water out. So make sure that's something you want to deal with. I'm sure DBrown will see this and can fill you in on what all he did.

I discovered pretty quickly that I don't have the tools or skills to make a nice water tight chop top. I have friend with a soft top that seems to keep things dry.

If you chop it where are you going to put your kids? :finger:

in ambers dodge...duhhh :finger:

now im thinking...maybe i can leave out the metal portion..and graft half of the hatch into the choped area...use sealant foam or something....ill figure it out. i just want a back window that doesnt have big air leaks around it.
