gettin started

started doing body work on her. still savin up to do motor swap. sand paper and primer are pretty cheep so i thought i would start on the cosmetics. all the prep work sure is harder than they make it look on tv.

Oh it definitely looks tons easier on TV.:flipoff: The Key to a great paint job is all in the preparation of the surface. :idea: Take your time and make it look like you want it. It is possible to paint a outstanding paint job at home. :D

When doing a paint job I prefer to go all the way to bare steel and strip all traces of the previous finish. I do that because I have found if you start with a clean slate it is easier to make it come out like you want.
