Starting to look like an early winter so I pulled the plow truck into the shop the other day. Topped up all the fluids, checked all the lights wipers and heater, aired up a couple tires. checked the winch. The bump stops at max blade height need a little repair but otherwise its ready for another winter.

Well not doing much on BII's these days. Health is still so so. I did start a new MAJOR PROJECT! I bought some property on the Worshington shores. Ocean Shores. I bought it the day before thanksgiving. I am putting up a new house and a new shop. I will be shrinking my new shop about 400 square ft less than the current one.

Man what a pain in the rear. all the permitting and bids from contractors and all the details worked out. I am hoping to be in my new home by June of 2019. Meanwhile I am going on a big weeding out of my BII parts.

Welcome to the forum Galusha... got some pics of your B2 you can share??

Ive had a mid winter thus far so the B2 snowplow hasnt seen much action. I cleaned out the shop recently so I can get the XLS in and see if I can free up the motor... if not I'll have to bite the bullet and start a motor swap.

Thats OK... I have enough of my own to pick from.. including a couple 4.0L if I was so inclined.. but Im not so I will be swapping one Cologne 2.8 for another. I quite like those engines once they have the Durospark conversion. My green '84 runs and drives nice but the truck was in an accident before I got it and cant be registered again without jumping thru alot of hoops so I'll likely use that engine in the xls.
