Vioxx user?

Post by TNMAN »

I'm sure most everyone has seen the info about the drug Vioxx. I have used this drug for approx. 2 1/2 - 3 years. During the first part of Sept I had to go to the ER.This was 2 or 3 weeks before the news was released. I was having chest pains, shortness of breath, and light headed/dizziness. I was tested and the doc said there was no damage and he didn't think I had a heart attack. I have no previous history of heart problems and I consider myself in relatively good shape. I dunno if I should pursue this issue or not. Anybody else used this stuff and had problems?

if you do decide to persue it I think you only have a certain time limit. I would look at it in the aspect if you had any unpaid medical bills from the repercussions of taking the drug,if you do you coulds just to take care of them and just let the rest go. or donate the rest to your church or something like that.

Vioxx is a super-duper anti-inflamatory drug usually prescribed for arthritis. All that stuff that I thought was so fun years ago is now biting me in the butt...so to speak. Ha Ha Ha....I used to think that crashing on a limestone short track and flopping around like a dying chicken was great fun. That was then. The pain from all my old injuries is NOW! LEts see....I have broken at least 6 of my fingers, I have had..on different occassions...almost all my ribs broken, I have had both collar bones broken(Damn full-coverage helmets!),,I have had some broken toes, 1 broken ankle, 1 broken arm,1 broken wrist,1 broken hand, a SEVERLY broken leg, a SEVERLY damaged/broken knee joint, 800-900 stiches(about 700 of those at one "sitting"...that was purely idiotic...street racing) and numereous concussions(1 of those severe). I used to race MC's: MX, short track oval, hare scramble, and drag race(semi-pro). Oh yea...and the real stupid one....street racing. :redneck:
