I had some in my mustang, took them off. I had to swap them out every time for inspection purposes and there's no high low beam all high beam. Got tired of being flashed at when other people passed by and got pulled over twice by the cops. they thougt i was drunk and had my high beams on.

My personal opinion is do NOT put those on for highway driving. I am about blind from driving down the road and trying to see while they glare in my face and turn the dark of my pockets to light of day.

I love the increased brightness they have but it is too much for traffic.

As a commuter, I have to agree. Those lights are just too bright. I'm sure it's nice to be on the other side, but they are hell on the rest of us. That's when it's nice to have driving lights that you can kick on when no one else is around.

Ya know, Our own resident Law Enforcement Officer Phillipe hasn't weighed in on this. Maybe if I call real loud he will stop by and give us the lowdown on Utah State law.

HEY PHILLIPE, COME ON OVER HERE AND PUT YOUR NICKLE IN!!! please?

LOL you make me laugh Tech.

Anyway Utah law on headlights, is that they have to have the DOT approval marked on the bulbs and have the appropriate wattage for the high and low beams. Our law is pretty vague other then US DOT marked.

On a personal note, I would more likely pull someone over if they blinded the crap out of me, then if they had some blueish tint.

Most Of The People Get Blinded By The 8K, 10K, 15K, 30K
From What Officers Told Me, 6K, 5K, 4K Doesn't Blind People.
To Me, It Seems To Be True. My Mom's Van Has 6K, And Doesn't Blind Me. She Never Get's Hi Beamed And A Officer Actually Thought They Were Cool.
But 8k, It's Too Blue And Wack! Expecially The 10k+

I can't really see a difference like in the picture above. The right is the 8500k.
