Well I FINALLY got my set of Mastercraft "Rubicon" seats.
Guess what?
Direct bolt-in! ('84 BII)
The left side runners I had to drill out the metric holes, for 3/8" bolts, but there SO close Im thinking you can run the bolts through with a wrench.
or 2 strokes with a round file. Its so close, that the right side needed nothing.
Pull the seats from the floor, pull the mounts from the old seats, bolt to the Mastercrafts, and then bolt them in!
1 hour MAX.
They also sit a little higher, but thats a welcome thing anyway.

Got pics and a price? Are they set up for a 5pt? When I do my rebuild, I'll be wanting some real seats.

Yeap, there setup for 5 point harnesses, and I will see about a pic and post tonight. Prices...they when up and I got them from a shop whos had then sitting around awile. Evedently knowone wanted the colors I needed,so he never sold them, so I got them for his old cost...or so he says.
2 seats and a 5 pt harness for $628 out the door.
The new cost Iv been seeing is aprox $330 each on the seats.
Time to go jump into one and get my butt to work!

heres a couple pics...
The "Brown haze" color is a better match for real, but with the flash, and taking the pics in near dark...
I would have ordered the same colors if I had ordered them, but without the black, although with black harnesses, it will be fine...

Seats look good. Although bolting up to the stock holes won't help me much, as I plan to mount them to a cage.

I see the twin stick there. I assume you got your Dana 20 in. Did you ever get the driveline brake? Whose twin stick did you use? T-shift or J-shift?

no driveline brake...
Have added a steering brake, but it locked up the right side, and I had to send it back for a replacement.
The D20 is in, "J" shift
The twin stick I built.

Anyone who says the 1350 T-case will hold up to a V8 is right. Anyone who says the tranny output shaft into the 1350 will hold up...NOT

When I had the tranny out for a rebuild the output shaft was twisted aprox 1 spline. Sure glade I had all the D20 parts at the time!

With mounting your seats to a cage, I guess anything will bolt right in! :tongue2:
