89 bronco ii

Post by 89b2 »

I got an 89 bronco ii a couple months ago. It’s seems to run ok when cold but looses power when warm. If I turn the ignition off and start it again it seems to run ok for a mile or two then looses power again. Anybody have any ideas what could cause this problem?????

Fuel pump is a common failure item but remember a BII has 2 fuel pumps. 1 low pressure pump near the tank and a high pressure pump on the frame rail drivers side near the front of the door. Also don't forget the Fuel filter too.
