Can a Explorer Hatch be swapped on a B2?

I really would like to have the back glass open on my B2. Can the back hatch from an Explorer be swapped, and keep all the amenities, rear wiper, defog and wheel rack?
I suppose maybe the rear brake lights may need to be changed to the Explorer style to fit the lift gate. Would the hatch need to be reinforced on the inside to hold up the spare tire?
