Custom exhaust 88 Bronco II EB

Postby dtrevillian83 » Mon Dec 16, 2013 1:58 pm

I need some help with my exhaust system, I have a glass pack with a universal Catalytic converter. I ran it for about 10 minutes when it started smoking and looked like the CAT got really hot. Does anybody know if the Universal CAT will work or if I need to shell out the $$$ for the factory one? Thanks!

It was probably just burning the manufacturing oils off. Cat converters run Hotter then Hell in the summer so I would run the rig and watch for signs of overheating on any structure near the converter.
