bds vs rough country

Post by pabroncoii8877 »

Hey guys new to the forum. I'm looking at putting a 4 in lift on my 88 bii. I was looking at the bds 4 in lift its 830 dollars and the rough country lift you can get with leaf springs instead of blocks for like 650 dollars. The bds only comes with blocks. Why is the bds so much more money? Thanks for the help guys

Unless your running 400fptq or more the blocks are fine... The blocks with big HP and tq will twist and that's where leaf's are gold in a piss bucket, but if your rockin the 2.9 with open diffs the blocks will be GREAT. Pssssssst, I'll let ya in on a secret... The leafs you get with the RC Lift are just refurbished 2-wheel drive 1990 f-150 springs... About a 4" bolt on lift... Junk yard.... $75.... Painted black with rough country with the extra 200 pounds of shipping weight.... TOO EFFING MUCH.
