i have a 1989 b2 EB ed 4x4. currently on 215 75 15 size tires. I bought some 16x8 american outlaw wheel but i'm lost on what size tires i should get. i would like to keep the current ride height. just want a wider tread. any suggestions?

Re: Tire help!!!!
When looking at tire size In metric tires you have to look at the aspect ratio , if you have a 215/75/r r15 the 215 is the section with (the width of the tread in mm ), the 75 is the sidewall height ( the sidewall height is 75% of the tread with) , r is radial , and 15 is the rim diameter, if your'e gonna move one number up the other must go down, if you want the same height and width but a 16 inch wheel you would need a 215/70/r16 tire it'll be the same height and width, best bet would be to go to a tire shop and shop around
